The big new feature in Madden NFL is a brand-new story mode called Longshot. Just like FIFA’s The Journey mode, it sees you taking control of a fictional character on their quest to reach the big time.
You find yourself competing in everything from high-school flashbacks to TV show challenges throughout 23-year-old Devin Wade’s story, making important decisions to help shape the future of his career.
Longshot is made possible by Madden’s new Frostbite Engine, which also results in the best-looking NFL game to date. The gameplay is better than ever too, adding new Game Styles and Target Passing to help provide more customisation options this time around.
Combine it all with the returning Ultimate Team, Franchise, Play Now Live and other popular modes, and you have got yourself a really action-packed game of American football.
