Animal Crossing Town Attractions
The Observatory
Open 24 Hours a day
7 Days a week
Inside the museum you will see stairs going up to a second floor – this is where the observatory is located. It is run by Blathers’ sister Celeste (who also seems to fall asleep during the day, though she won’t admit it). Chat with her; she will let you look through the powerful telescope and observe the stars.
Stargazing
If you decide to do some stargazing, you can take a look at the constellations that have been created by other people in your town or admire the ones you created yourself. You can also see the date they were named and find out the best time to see them in the night sky.
Creating Constellations
Because Blathers bought Celeste a discounted star chart without constellations, she lets visitors create new constellations and name them. Just connect the dots to create a constellation, and name it Big Ugly, or whatever strikes your fancy.
The Roost
Open 24 Hours a day
7 Days a week
If you are looking for a cool place to hang out and drink (virtual) coffee, The Roost is your place. Located within the museum, this café is a popular meeting place where all the locals go to relax and socialise, plus some out-of-towners will stop by once in a while. The Roost is run by a bird named Brewster, who is a master barista.
Folks, Give It Up For KK Slider
Be sure to visit The Roost on Saturday nights. KK Slider has a weekly gig that starts at 7.30pm (though he won’t take requests until 8pm). You can just take in the good music, or you can make requests.
If you sit down at the bar, Brewster will pour you a cup of joe. Don’t take the time to let it cool down – Brewster will get offended if you don’t drink his brew right away. The more you hang out with Brewster, the more he will warm up to you and become chatty.
The Bulletin Board
Available 24 Hours a day
7 Days a week
You will find the town bulletin board near the town hall. Messages for the residents of your burg will be posted here. Like Booker at the gate, the bulletin board will usually have information posted about any major goings-on within your town. A message will show the date it was posted, as well as who posted it.
The bulletin board’s not just for your neighbours – you can write messages on it too! Got something you need to get off your chest? Share a poem, make an announcement or tell the world how you feel with a post on the bulletin board.
You can find discounted Animal Crossing gift cards over at our online store here, along with a wide variety of other gift cards here.
